A few days after accusing the father of the ACE Family YouTube channel of raping one of his friends, beauty vlogger Cole Carrigan is not backing down. Even though Carrigan was apparently exposed for wanting money from Ace Familys Austin McBroom, who then said he would take legal action, Carrigan tweeted Wednesday night that he wasnt worried about being sued for extortion.

Instead, he doubled down.

No im not getting sued for extortion but Austin McBroom & his team will be arrested for sexual assault, Carrigan wrote. My intentions were wrong in the beginning but i realized what was more important and THAT is why my video was uploaded with factual evidence. no amount of $ was EVER involved.

Carrigan posted a video on Monday in which he said one of his friends and another woman were raped by McBroom and others in his entourage during a trip to Miami last summer. He said he was releasing the video to speak up for the victims, and he provided evidenceincluding a photo of blood on a hotel room bed sheetthat he said proved McBrooms alleged crime.

Austin, the security guard, the father, and two other guys came into [her hotel] room, Carrigan said in his video. My friend told me she repeatedly said no multiple times, over and over again to the point where she started crying, begging them to stop. Thats when they forced herself in her.

That video has been more viewed more than 7.5 million times as of this writing, and Carrigan, who now has 218,000 subscribers, has gained more than 80,000 followers on YouTube since he uploaded the vlog.

McBrooms wife, Catherine Paiz, responded on Twitter by saying the screenshots had been faked, prompting Carrigan to call her delusional and a fucking idiot.

McBroom then got involved, vehemently denying that he had raped anyone. He wrote in a statement that he was the victim of extortion, defamation, and slander. My family and I are dealing with this matter privately and taking legal action. Bullying, extortion, slander, and defamation of [character] is something I will not stand for and I can promise that justice will be served.

One of the women apparently involved in the incident, an Instagram model, put out a statement on Instagram, disputing Carrigans assertations and saying McBroom didnt rape her or anyone. She also said Carrigan claimed he could potentially receive a $100,000 payoff for the McBroom accusation.

While Carrigan said on Twitter that his intentions were wrong in the beginning, hes not backing away from his accusation.

If austin was really a victim of extortion why post 3 different statements about how your (sic) getting your lawyers involved? Carrigan tweeted on Wednesday night. If you were really a victim there would be no case to fight? hes scared bc i posted FACTS.

Though Carrigan has seen a significant uptick in his YouTube subscriber base, the ACE Family has lost about 100,000 followers since the accusations were unveiled, according to Social Blade.
